The Nuge is on a distinguished road
Default GE WSSH300G0WW just clicks..

Washer won't wash.

Once I wake the machine pressing start triggers the door solenoid but doesn't lock the door. The start led flashes twice followed by the start led & all five indicator lights total 6 led blinking 4 times this repeats....forever....

I wake the machine and wait 5 seconds, I press and hold (start) and the (pause cancel) buttons to get an eror code. The start light blinks once followed by the 5 vertical lights (Door Lock, Wash, Rinse, Final Spin, and Control) blinking and beeping 4 times. I continue to hold the (start) and (pause cancel) button, but no pattern repeats, the start light continues to flash after this and the 5 vertical lights return to what ever appropriate setting that I have the program knob set to.

The washer can be put into the diagnostic test mode but with each turn of the program knob only the door lock solenoid is triggered.

I have a feeling the control board is toast. The washer was not connected to any surge protector and seemed to stop working after our vacuum cleaner cord insulation became frayed and was used in our house outlet.

Thank you for your help.

So there is no error code? Try unplugging the machine for 60 seconds then try it again.

yes I've tried several times to recall an error code
unplugged for 60 seconds. five seconds after being plugged in I press and hold (start) and the (pause cancel) buttons.

The start light blinks once followed by the 5 vertical lights (Door Lock, Wash, Rinse, Final Spin, and Control) blinking and beeping 4 times. As I continue to hold the (start) and (pause cancel) buttons no pattern repeats, the start light continues to flash repetitively after this and the 5 vertical lights return to what ever appropriate setting that I have the program knob set to.

Pressing Start only triggers the door lock solenoid. I hear it click once and the door remains unlocked.

Both hot and cold faucets are on
house circuit breakers checked. I even ran an extension cord to another outlet wired to a different breaker.
soap dispenser drawer was removed and replaced it is in working condition and properly closed.

I have a technicial service manual for GE front load washers. It's a large file so I'll have to e-mail it to you. Click on my name above and then click on send me an email. Send me your email address and I'll send the manual to you. It has easy troubleshooting steps and if you run into any problems just let me know.

Hi Rick,

You can upload the GE service manual to http://www.savefile.com/ and I can download it and put it on our server here, so people can download it anytime.

Yup, I worked good Rick.

Here's the repair manual for it:
www.applianceblog.com/manuals/GE_Frontload_Washer.pdf

I'll also post it at the top of this forum as a sticky.
