Default ge advantium 120

ok just went to go microwave a cup of water and opened the door put water in, microwaved water. after it was done I oped door took water out closed door and the light stayed on and turntable turned........
and just keeps on going unless I turn off the power...... everthing still works fine it just stays on after it gets done microwaving.......

please help, it sucks having to go out in the garage turn the breaker off and on in order to use it

ok here is some more info.... you turn the power on and the fan turns on and light, but its not microwaving. just fan,light and turntable. you press one of the buttons microwave, speedcook, oven, ect and they work fine. after you get done cooking you can press stop and it stops cooking but the light and fan stay on.
if you open the door during cooling it stops close the door and light and fan turn on again....

it doesn't seem like a door switch because you open it and it shuts off. also you can press stop or cancel, and it works fine. everthing works fine just light fan and trurntable stay on....

Trips...Sounds like you may have a problem with the control board..Possibly a stuck relay...You will need to post the complete model number and someone will get you a part number..
