Default Need wiring diagram for Hotpoint burner

I have a Hotpoint electric range, model RA 515001 WH.
The 8" burner was removed before I could make a note of
the correct order for reattaching the replacement burner
I purchased. It has red, white, and black wires. Any help
would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Jack

Thanks Jack,

Unfortunately, I'm unable to locate a wiring diagram for this model. After they get 20 or 30 years old, its hard to get any parts or diagrams for them.

Default How about a simple description

Can anyone just describe to me in left-to-right terms where the
red, black, and white wires are attached? I don't really need a diagram.

Thanks.

Red & Black are both HOT.

White is neutral.

Now I haven't seen one of these older Hotpoints in many years to tell you without looking at it.

Possibly GE Jim can tell you.

I saw one in our shop that had been removed from a range...If you hold the burner upside down with the wiring connections pointing at you, this one had RED on the left WHITE in the center and BLACK on the right....
