Default GE wbvh5200j2 Washer won't spin at high speed

I've got a new front loader. During a wash I will frequently notice the drum spinning slowly. The timer might read 14 minutes. The timer counts down to 11 and then the drum stops for a moment and then reverses direction, but the timer shows 14 again. This goes on and on. The load never spins at high speed to remove the water. Is the Automatic Load Redistribution function at fault here?

Thanks.

Hi,

No, thats not likely, as I have a similar model to yours, and mine has never done that once in my 2 years I've owned it.

Since its new contact GE to come out for free under warranty to see whats going on.

Smile front load washer

if clothes are out of balance then you will have this problem, along with improper leveling leg installation. machine will try and redistribute the load, and eventually give up. I've seen it many times. proper installation, sorting and loading may be the cure, especially if it spins ok empty. try it and see.
