Default GE Washer Nosiy during Agitate cycle

I have a recent addition to the home. A used GE washer model: WPSB8060B1WW. After installation, I performed a test wash cycle (without cloths) to make sure the unit worked OK. Everything seemed fine except for one thing. During the agitation cycle it seems to be making too much noise.

The noise, like most noises, is hard to describe. I wouldn’t call it a metal type or a squeak but more like a combination of the two. A back and forth type noise that is kind of loud. The other thing is that the tub shakes back and forth quite a bit during this cycle. I took the front off to try and isolate where the sound is coming from but I really can't tell. If I hold the tub stationary during the cycle the sound disappears.

Any ideas what I should look for?

Hi,

These models are usually loud when its agitating, but check your suspension straps, if 1 is broken it can be extremely load.

The washer outer tank bangs into the cabinet when the machine runs, look for broken suspension straps ( # 370 - there are 4 of them ) that run between the outer tank cover and the top brace of the washer. I have new picture to show you the four suspension straps.
