Default [FIXED] GE Gas Range

Broiler will not light and Igniter does not glow. Pretty sure the igniter is bad. My question is how do I remove it? Any help will be appreciated.

GE Gas Range Model JGBP33CEH3CC
Igniter is Part# WB2X9154 (GE Part #AP2014008)

Hi,

Just take off the bottom panel inside your oven, then take off the heat shield#219 here, then your oven igniter glow bar is #218, the wiring connections are the very bottom, so you'll need to remove your storage drawer:

Here's the cheapest oven/broil igniter glow bar I found for your model you can order:
Manufacturer's Number: WB2X9154

Default Ge Oven

Actually need to replace the top Glow Bar. Can I replace it from inside the oven?

Thanks

Oops sorry, thought you said bottom bake one.

Then just remove #270 the upper broil heat shield, then you can unmount the broil igniter glow bar from the broil burner assembly and replace it.

Yes, you do it all from inside the oven.

Top(broil) and bottom(bake) are identical, same part#.
