    Default GE Dryer

I have a GE Dryer model DPSR405EA0WW and I know the motor is bad and it calls for a WE17M22. I have a motor with the following number on it 5KH26JJ064S. Will this motor work? I can't find any WE numbers on the motor. I am thinking it will work, may have to change some of the wires where they go on the motor switch.

Nope, those numbers don't match up with the WE17M22

I'd be careful changing wires around, may cause you to blow the motor if you accidentally put a wire in the wrong place.

Why don't you just order a new WE17M22 better safe then sorry.

I placed that motor on it and everything wired up the same, works like a charm.
