Post GE range JGBP30WEA2WW - no bake, no broil and no gas

I own a GE Range, model JGBP30WEA2WW. When I turn on the oven, the glolight does not come on and neither does the gas. When I turn the oven to broil, it does not work either. It has sealed burners. The burners work, and the display seems to be working correctly. The light in the oven works. I'm wondering if you could help me pin this problem down so I don't go replacing parts that I don't need to replace.

Thanks for your time,
FlatHeadCat

Hi,

You'll need a volt meter to see if your getting 120 volts at your oven igniter glow bar connector when the oven is on, if no 120 volts, then your electronic oven clock control board is bad.

Here's the one for your model:
Manufacturer's Number: WB11K10013

If you purchase parts from our links here and you install them and it doesn't fix the problem, you have a 30 day full refund when you return them.

All you do is take the connector off from the bake igniter glow bar and put your volt meter probes in the connector that connects to that glow bar and turn the oven on, if your meter doesn't read 120 volts, then the control board I linked to above will need to be replaced.

The connector is usually under the range, after you pull the storage all the way out, in the very back, you'll need a flashlight or floodlight to see well.

Ok, then if its getting 120 volts, then your oven igniter glow bar is bad.

Here's the cheapest oven igniter glow bar I found for your model you can order:
Manufacturer's Number: WB2X9154

Question GE range JGBP30WEA2WW - no bake, no broil and no gas

Would it be the oven igniter glow bar even though both the bake and broil igniters stopped working at the same time? Nothing in the oven is working except the light.
Thanks very much for the help

See, thats the part I don't understand, usually both the bake & broil won't go out at the same time.

But if your saying your getting 120 volts at the connector to the bake igniter glow bar, then if the bake igniter glow bar was good, it should power on with that 120 volts to it.

You may need to contact GE to come out on this issue, like I said its very unusual for this to happen.
