    Default GE Dryer Squealing!

    My GE electric dryer model DWSR483EB0WW is squealing. It sounds like it is coming from the front of the drum near the door. I have had the dryer for six years.

    What do you think the problem is?

    Hi,

    Ok, on these models I've seen the front glide assembly go bad and cause all kinds of rattle/noise issues.

    Here's the front bearing/glide assembly:
    Manufacturer's Number: WE3M26

    WE3M26

    You would need to order the glides for it as well, as they don't come with the bearing assembly, there's a link to order them in the description.
