Angry [FIXED] profile drain problem

Hi, thanks for this. I have a pdw 8480 j01ss GE profile dishwasher. It had a popcicle stick stuck in the grate to the pump inlet. I removed the stick but it doesn't drain all the way and therefore the glasses etc have soap film on them. Any Ideas?? I can't get the grate off without first removing the lower spray blade. How does one remove the lower spray wand?? It doesn't have any nut in the center. ?? Thanks. Jon

I found the problem!!! Evidently one is not suposed to put brand new glasses and dishes in the dishwasher with their stickers still on. ( It doesn't say so in the owners manual) The built in disposal simply whipps up this soggy paper and it's accompanying adhesive and makes a wonderful paper machet clogg. It was in everything. I got it out and beat the dog. ( we always blame the dog.) But anyhow I'm glad to have found this site and will probably be using it again. Thanks and keep up the good work. Loterig
