Default Ge Profile Pdw8280jo1ss Drain Problem

I have a GE PROFILE dishwasher and its leaving about a half inch of water in it when it's finished. I checked the lines, I cleaned under the plastic filter cap in the right rear under the water spout . If you hit cancel the water will drain out , except that last half inch. I took the drain hose off under the sink and drained the water out into a bucket. It didn't have alot of pressure behind it but it did drain.

Any help will be appreciated.

Hi Dave,

Your model has a separate drain pump motor, its #325 here:



You have something jammed/clogged in it, or your drain motor impeller inside it is bad.

You may need to pull your dishwasher out to access it from underneath.

Here's the drain pump motor assembly for your model:
