Default Refrigerator side very hot - 95

I have a GE Arctica side by side model PSS25SGNABS that was working fine last night when I went to bed. This morning the refrigerator side was very warm, the temp was showing 95 and the the freezer side was showing 37. I haven't noticed and odd noise and I can hear what sounds like the fan running when I open the door. There is still plenty of ice in the ice tray. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Ok,

Take the food out of your freezer, then take the freezer shelves out, then remove your back panel#213 here, then look at your evaporator coil and see if it has massive frost build-up on it or not, normal would be a thin layer of frost on ALL the coils:

Report back what you find.

Default It works

Jake,

Thanks for the reponse. I didn't have to do anything, when I got home around 4pm I was going to do as you suggested, but the refrigerator was cool and about 45 degrees and by 6:30 it was down to 37. I guess it recovered by itself. Does this model have an automatic defrost? This refrigerator came with house so I don't have any documentation on it

Yes, it has auto-defrost, but even at that it should never get that warm in both sides.

Keep your eye on it and report back if you see it start doing the same thing again.

Try pulling off the kick plate at the bottom front..There you will find the water line that goes up the freezer door..Disconnect the tube at the connector and push the water dispenser lever and see if it comes out at the bottom.

Let us know what happens.
