Default Replace/Clean Water Tank dispenser

I have the GE TFX20JRBKWH and need to replace/clean the water tank. We had some issues with the water in my building and now the tank has lots of dirt in it which end up in the water and ice.

Can you please tell me what is the best way to fix this issue?

How can i clear out all the tubes of water and how to you connect the tube to the tank? I looked inside the fridge and it looks like the tube to tank connection is heat sealed, any suggestions or instructions on how to replace this.
thanks
Mel

Hi Mel,

Here's the water tank for your model:
Manufacturer part number WR17X10428 is RepairClinic item number 879444
WR17X10428

It should have enough tubing to connect to the water inlet valve and in the front behind the kickplate grille where there should be a quick disconnect.
