Default GE Profile XL44 Model # JGPB79WEB1WW

ooops I think I confused this the glow plug is the igniter. So I iguess I have to measure 120V at the connection to the Igniter/Glow plug. Right?
Also please provide link to proper Igniter

If the glow plug doesn't Ignite or I don't read 120V, the what? Thx

Hi,

My GE Profile XL44 Model # JGPB79WEB1WW bottom glow plug is not going on. The broiler works. I will swap the top broiler plug with the bake to see if it is the glow plug. But if that doesn't work ibelieve there is an Ignitor that should read 120V Right?. I looked through all the parts and could not find the bake ignitor

Can you send me the link?

Thx Joe

Hi Joe,

Please double check your model# again, I can't located any information on that one you listed.

Then I can link you to the oven igniter glow bar for your model.

Yes, if you get 120 volts at the oven igniter glow bar when the oven is on and the glow bar isn't glowing, its definitely bad.

I still can't locate anything on that one.

Are you reading the model# directly from the model# tag thats located on the lower front bottom frame after you pull out the storage drawer?
