Default GE Profile Range -CLEAR/OFF Doesn't Work

We just replaced the control panel on our GE Profile oven - Model 65093 and the Clear/Off button doesn't work. Is there a special step to engage the CLEAR/OFF control? The other buttons appear to work ok. The oven comes on but we had to pull out the unit from the wall and unplug to turn off. Thanks in advance for suggestions.

Hi,

Please check your model# again, I can't locate any information on that one.

Where did you buy the control panel from?

So the oven won't go off at all except when you unplug it from the wall?

Model number is JGB920SEF2SS. We bought the part via a Sears repair person who ordered it to fix our F0 error message. I'm sure the part came from GE. The part was on backorder so we installed it when it arrived. Haven't been able to confirm if the F0 issue is resolved because we can't get past the Clear/Off problem. When we set an oven temp, the oven comes on but repeated touches to the Clear/Off will not turn it off. So we resort to unplugging. Thanks.

Ok, I see now.

Its possibly the new control panel is defective, you should be able to return it.

Here's the control panel for your model, its $43 cheaper here, AND IN-STOCK:
Manufacturer part number WB36K10588 is RepairClinic item number 1263280
