This problem will just not go away. So after replacing the control board and module the issue still occurs. Finding a good tech is also not so easy....

More info: If I start the dishwasher and the wash cycle does not kick in, I cancel the cycle and start it over again. This works sometimes and the wash cycle will start. If this does not, I again cancel the cycle. Then remove the kickplate (bottom access panel) and disconnect the blue plug from the motor in the front of the washer that should run when the wash cycle starts, plug it back in and start the washer again. This almost always works and the wash cycle will kick in. But it will only short lived and the process start over again.

On the motor where the plug plugs into, there is a white plate and black cylinder. I am not sure if maybe one of these items are going bad.

Any other thoughts?

Yes, its likely the wash pump motor then thats bad.

I don't see a separate part for that white plate and black cylinder you could order, it comes with the new wash pump motor.

Here's the wash pump assembly for your model:
Manufacturer's Number: WD26X10015

WD26X10015

Here's the parts diagram, #310 is your wash pump motor:
