OK, the service guy from GE came to the house today, ( and let me tell you he looked like the scruftyest person I ever seen) he ran the diagnostics as I did and said it was definatly the blower motor and wanted to charge me 200 bucks for the part and another 200 bucks for labor, my wife threw him out after we paid the service call. So I guess i will be tackling this myself again. I will purchase the motor first. I'll let you know the results. Also I called GE back and told them that this is a known problem with the Harmony series dryer's so why isn't the part free, they told me they don't know of any problems with this dryer.!! Can you believe that!
Needless to say I told her this is my last GE product!

I wonder if the motor just needs to be re-lubricated?

No, lubricating the motor won't fix unfortunately.

OK, now it's all starting to make sense, after doing some research I found out that the Harmony line of dryers and washers are really made by LG!!!!!!!

If you look at the service manual and look closely at the circuit boards you will see the LG logo, also on the front of the machines name plate it says made in Korea!!!! Just Google this information and you'll see they have joined together.

If I wanted a crappy LG dryer I would have bought one. So GE is making this cheap piece of junk and selling it for $1000.00 ($800.00 after you shop around)

Time to wake up people, Ge is not what they used to be!

This is my last GE product!

Thats interesting, I didn't know that myself.

Yes, stay away from GE and LG, Buy good ol American products, Whirlpool, Maytag.
