Default [FIXED] GE Harmony Dryer

The dryer is about 4 years old, and the heat comes on sometimes. So I unplugged it for a few minutes then plugged it back in as this model is all computerized. I then told it to dry in the cottons mode, and it was still cold (no heat) then I canceled that and told it to dry in the garments mode and I told it to go use more heat, then the glowbar lit and it started to make heat.

What could it be thats not working properly?

Hi,

I haven't worked on this model, so if you can post the model# and we can do a search and see if anyone else has run into this issue before and what the fix is.

Thanks,

I found a couple threads that talk about how to see if you have an error code thats related to this issue here:
GE Harmony Gas Dryer stuck in "Sensing"

This one talks about the blower being faulty on a lot of these Harmony models:

OK, i just ran the diagnostics and it says the blower motor is not working to capacity.

Then I disconnected the exhaust from the outside connection and can feel no air movement.
