Default GE door vent spring

I removed the door panel today to replace the sequence switch on my GE Profile III dishwasher and the vent assembly and spring on the door (upper left corner) fell off. I am not sure how to reassemble it - especially how the spring goes. Can anyone help? A picture would be much appreciated.

In looking at it further, it looks like one of the tabs broke off the vent assembly (Part 270521 from RepairClinic.com).

I ordered a new one, so any help with reassembly would be appreciated. Again, pictures would be great.

Hi,

Whats the model# of your dishwasher? Its located inside the door on the top or side tub frame. Then I can pull up a parts diagram for you.

Thanks,

Here's a couple of photos of how that spring goes on #840 is your dispenser spring:

The spring on the round dispenser should look like this. #1 hooks on a groove cut into the dispenser arm, #2 hooks onto a tab built onto the inner door panel.
