Ice dispenser and freezer stopped working
GE Model GSH25JFRF WW SERIAL #FR257507
My dispenser stopped working then the freezer stopped working. I did manage to get it to start working by unplugging the refrigerator and plugging it back in. From what I have read this a common problem, and that replacing the main circuit board corrects the problem. Is there a recall from GE that will cover this part or should I just replace the board and move on. Also how hard is the board to replace and what is the correct board to purchase.
Thanks for any info.ffice

Hi Mike,
Yes, the motherboard is likely the problem.
Here's the motherboard for your model you can order:
Manufacturer part number WR55X10942 is RepairClinic item number 1531075
WR55X10942
If you purchase parts from our links here and you install them and it doesn't fix the problem, you have a 30 day full refund when you return them.
You would need to pull your refrigerator out from the wall, its #801 here, just take the cover#843 off and you will see it(Unplug your refrigerator first):
