Talking GE Model GSL25JFPA BS water dispenser w/ weak flow

I have read plenty of threads about water dispensing problems and have narrowed my down. The water comes out slow. I replaced the filter but the same thing. I checked the water pressure from the house line and it is strong. I removed the line from the intake valve coming from the filter and that was weak flow. So the problem appears to be between the house line and the intake valve. I noticed when the filter is removed there is a small valve on the filter housing that stops the water from going into the filter. When the filter is screwed on, the valve opens to let the water flow. I assume if I depress this valve manually (filter removed obviously) then water should spurt everywhere. Water does come out but again with weak flow. So I figure that there is a problem with the line going into the filter or a clog of some sort in the filter housing itself. Does this sound possible? Should I replace the whole filter assembly and if so where can I get one?

    Hi,

Check the water filter part# you may need the new adapter that now has to be installed with certain water filters:

Default GE Model # GSL25JFPA BS won't dispense water...

I don't seem to be getting any power to the water valve when pushing on the water dispensing lever. I thought it was the printed circuit board & my appliance parts man said he had sold quite a few of those boards, so I ordered one, put it in, and still no water.

Does anyone have any ideas on what the problem might be, or do you have a wiring schematic for this unit? I can't seem to find one anywhere on the unit.

    Thanks a lot,
    Bryan
