Bad Motor?
I have taken my dryer GE Model Number DBXR453GT apart and cleaned out all the lint in and around the motor as much as I could.
The motor hums but does not start when I turn the start knob. I can get the motor to operate if I spin the white impeller while turining the start knob. I think that this is a good indication that the motor is bad?? Is the motor bad and if so how much would a replacement motor cost? TIA George
