Default Replaced Motor but Dryer will Not Stay On

I replaced the motor of my GE DBXR453GT gas dryer. The motor engages the blower but as soon as you release the start knob the motor turns off.

Any ideas?

George

Check the broken belt switch on the idler arm.

Ohm it for continuity, make sure the idler arm is tripping the switch when the belt is installed, make sure the switch bracket is not bent.
