Default fix action for my fridge side not cooling

GE SxS fridge Model number was GSL25JFPA BS

i had a repair guy come out and replace my condenser fan motor in my freezer and he said it needed a new circuit board as well so he put a new one of those in as well

my freezer problem was solved it worked just fine but then i noticed my fridge side was cooling

anyway i read a blog and got this information

on certain model GE fridges there is a jumper wire on the jumper j1 between j1-1 and j1-2 this jumper controls the dampner temp sensor in the fridge side this wire needs to be cut

i noticed that the circuit board i had replaced by the repair guy and the circuit board he had installed was not exactly the same so i went ahead and cut that jumper wire and the fridge dampner worked perfectly

jumper j1 is located in the upper right hand corner of the circuit board and j1-1 and j1-2 are the first two pins on the left hand side of the jumper
maybe cut that wire and see if your fridge will start to get cold

Thanks for that good information.

Just so you know, what your calling your condenser fan motor in the freezer is called the evaporator fan motor, your condenser is on the outside in the back bottom near your compressor.
