We have a GE side/side Artica model number PSC23SGRCSS that is 13 months old. Last week it just started having problems with ice dispenser working intermittenly, now it hardly dispenses and when it does dispense it does the wrong selection (i.e. dispenses crushed when cubed selected). It also seems that the water dispenser is now suffering from the same problem (sometimes will not work immediately.) We spoke to repairman over the phone and he said that it sounded like a board?? Is this something we can 1.order and 2. replace ourselves? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Up and down, it should move freely, sometimes ice can get jammed in the blades and cause it to not change correctly from crushed to cubed ice.

Thanks for the great advice, much appreciated. So the board is the entire black panel ? In other words the part you order (part number would be extremely helpful) replaces the entire panel it's not just a board ?
