GE washer makes Loud thumping noise
Have a GE washer model S4200B0WW that makes a loud thumping noise
when using slow agitate and slow spin it operates ok with regular agitate
or fast spin is this the motor or transmission? or something else?

You would need to open up the front panel and see if you can pinpoint where its coming from, you can take the belt off the motor and transmission pulleys and run in slow and see if the sound is still present with the belt off.

Took the belt off the motor and transmission, the noise is coming from the
motor. Does this mean its the motor or clutch. Or is it just best to replace
with the motor and clutch kit?
