It's a GE Profile S/S, Model TFHW24RRAWH, about 12-15 yrs old. Recently, the ice dispenser has degraded from the choice of crushed or cubed ice to crushed only. I read the posts about this and need to pursue this further. However, now I only occassionally get ice. It seems that if I push on the ice dispenser arm only the right way willI get ice. I'd like to get access to the dispenser guts to check the switch for the arm but am not sure how to gain access without damaging something else. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Remove the freezer door handle, dispenser front pops out. You should be able to access/test the switches from there.

Thanks!! I tried removing the handle, Part No. 121 on the assembly print but couldn't remove it. Does it just snap into the track?? I tried to pry it out with no luck.
