Smile Best refrigerator brand (& model ?) & Warranty

Hello,
I am new to buying appliances and have been reading up on various appliance problems before selecting them.
Would anyone be able to comment on what is the best refrigerator brand and is there such a thing as best model ? This is from the point of repairs/problems only - i.e. the best brand is the one with least problems.
Maybe this has been covered before - if so, please send me the link.

Also, is it a good idea to buy the store warranty ? If I get the item from the Internet, do the stores provide same repair warranty as to the one brought from them ?

TIA
--Newbie

Whirlpool has the least repairs that I do. So they would be the best as far as least repairs.

The Sears Kenmore made by Whirlpool(model# starts with 106.) is also the best.

Yes.

For some odd reason, Whirlpool does offer many options for bottom freezer/French doors refrigerators. What other brands would you recommend? Is there a brand/model that one should avoid?fficeffice" />>>

Avoid Frigidaire and Amana.

Finding a refrigerator is becoming an impossible task... All the brands, all the options with-in a brands, all the stores and that after we have settled on a certain type of a fridge (French doors/bottom freezer w/water dispenser on the outside).

I keep going between GE Profile and Kenmore Trio, but can’t decide . Who makes Trio?

The Trio is made by Amana.

I would get the GE one.
