    Default Error code #3 on Kenmore Water Softner

    Our Kenmore water softner has an error #3 Service Required on the display. I didn't see a water softner forum but thought I would see if this is something you can assist with. What is this and is there anything I can do or do I have to have a technician service it? The model number is 625.388800

    Oh and to complicate matters, part of the LCD display has been out since we moved in 5 years ago. I found the manual online and was completing the troubleshooting area. The "Trbn" line is not visible on the LCD and part of the "Days" line as well. Can anything be done or are we looking at replacement? Any help is appreciated as always! Thanks in advance!

    I was looking for the manual for you but I see you found it. We don't do water softeners here but maybe one of the other members will see this and have an answer for you. Sorry
