Default Magic Chef - yes or no?

We're looking for an OTR microwave and talltub built-in dishwasher and my mom is looking for a fridge. We're wondering about the Magic Chef brand sold at Home Depot in Canada. It seems much less expensive than some other brands. (One of the other brands I'm considering is Kenmore.).

I see Magic Chef is owned by Maytag, but I don't know if they manufacture it, too. I'm wondering about reliability and whether or not they generally make a good product. Home Depot has good customer service, but I don't know about Maytag.

Any advice?

I'm having difficulty choosing dishwashers and OTR microwaves in general. They all seem to have similar features.

Yes, the Magic Chef and Admiral Brands are very good, they are made by Maytag.

I purchased my Admiral Dryer at Home Depot in Oct. 2004, its been doing a good job.

My Admiral Refrigerator I bought new At Montgomery Ward in 1999, Its been running good as well.

As for the features, you would have to look at different stores to compare features, or online.
