I seem to be having an issue with my AprilAire 700 humidifier. It comes on but it seems that it will only come on when I have the dial set to "test". I doubt my house is humid enough that it doesn't need to come on since I've been running the heat for the last few weeks.
Any ideas on how to determine if the humidistat is OK?
