I have a Kitchen aid gas range #KGRT607HWH6 that I bought at Sears. While the stove was still in warranty the temp probe didn't work. A repairman came out and replaced display control. Now, afew years later I got anF2:E1 error code. I contacted REPAIR CLINIC and bought a new control. I installed as per the instructions. Every thig was going well till the end of the "End of Service" sequence. At the end I never got a gas or elec display. The clock came up but that was it. I I try to bake etc. I now get as "F1-E3" error code. I have read other blogs on this forum and tried different things but to no avail. PLEASE HELP

Thank you for your response. I keep getting answers from everyone that jumpers have changed or pins 3 to 7 have changed. Nothing has changed. The wires are locked in a harness and snap in. They can't change. I cleaned out the female side with contact cleaner. I have inspected the "plug" using a high power magnifier and could find nothing amiss. On the fault sheet it refers to the error "F1:E3" as a "configuration mis-match". Then it describes the FAULT DESCRIPTION as"Configuration jumper change; freestand, electric". I don't have an electric stove it's GAS.
My old CONTROL BOARD is different from the new one. My old board has connections at "R56" and the new board is blank at "R56". What does "R56" do? Does any of this have any bearing on my problem? Thank you. Lawrence Purcell |

I haven't run across this issue myself before, lets see if others that have seen this issue happen can post a reply.
