Unhappy Kitchenaid Superba no heat

Kitchenaid KGST307FWHO Range
I too have no baking abilities. The stove top and broiler are fine. Some possiblilities I've read say the fuse or heating element may be out, however it looks like the bake relay may be bad. It looks burnt. HELP!! Turkey day is just around the corner and we were just about to bake 4 dozen cookies to send to IRAQ!!!

Hi harzan,

OK, the first thing we have to do is back up a little. I was able to look up your model. You don't have a heating element so we can rule that out. The only Bi-metal fuse you have is for the cook top and you said it was working fine so rule that out. Burned bake relay, are you looking at a specific relay on the control board? If so, you will have to replace the control board. If not then we have to do what we appliance techs like to refer to as "start from the beginning". If you need the control board, let me know and I'll look up the part number for you.

I'm not so sure if I'm replying correctly so forgive me! I appreciate the response. I realize I didn't mean to say the heating element. I meant the ignition. In response to your suggesting replacing the control board just to replace the relay I have to question. I know how to replace parts at the component level and am wondering why you say to replace the entire control pcb.
