Kitchen Aid Dispensers not working
Hi, I have a Superba KSCS25FKSS01.
The ice maker works as it should but it is almost like I do not have any power to the dispenser area, nothing works, not even the light. It started when the ice dispenser stopped dispensing whole cubes and only dispensing crushed and now neither the water or ice work at all. I just put a new filter in and still nothing.
I took the cover off of the dispenser area and nothing looks broken and the switches do 'click' so I am leaning towards a total power loss to the door.
What can I check for? If you can help me you are my new best friend.
thanks

Hi,
Take off your bottom freezer door hinge cover and check the wiring#11 that comes out the freezer door hole at the bottom, I've seen the wires come loose there or get broken:

Hi, just not sure what you want me to do, is the hinge cover on the door or the main unit itself. Do I neeed to take the door off?
thanks

No, don't take the door off, just open both your refrigerator and freezer doors, then take off the plastic kickplate grill on the very bottom, pull it out hard, it just unsnaps, then you can take off the bottom freezer hinge cover to see the wires.
The kickplate grill is #22 here, actually on your model, thats the hinge cover itself, so once you pull the kickplate grill you should be able to see the freezer door wires, #16 is your bottom freezer door hinge:

Alrighty, took off the kick plate and disconected the freezer door harness. All of the wires except for one were cut, not frayed, but look like they had a clean cut. I had to cut off the sheath and there is about an inch or so coming out of the door, so I guess I will try and solder them this weekend unles you have another idea?
You truly are my new best friend!

Looks like your not alone, Others have had this issue as well in this thread:
Superba no power in door dispenser
Yours uses the same wiring harness as well, you can order it here:
Part#2187667

But do try the soldering first, as this harness is about $63.00.
Here's another thread I just found with the same issue too:
