Kitchen aid side by side refrig not making ice. Model KSRB25FHSS04. Removed ice maker and found the ejector fingers to be frozen in the ice. Thawed it out, reinstalled and let it run for several hours still no ice. Never filled up with water but noticed that the ejector fingers ran through a cycle from the 2 O'clock position to 7,9,12 and back to 2 o'clock in about 10 minutes. Manually put water in the ice tray and let it run. Ejector fingers again frozen in the ice at about the 6 O'clock position. Have read through a lot of the info on your site and can't find anything like it. I do see a lot of comments about the LED light but I don't have one on my model.

Hi,
You'll need a new ice maker module. Here's the cheapest one I found for your model: Manufacturer part#W10122536 is RepairClinic item#1373103 W10122536Jake

Thank you. Is this a difficult repair or something reasonable for a do it yourself project? Think I'll take the old one out and apart and see how difficult it looks. appreciate the advice.

If you've fixed other things around your house, then you can do it.
![]() To change it, take your ice maker out by taking the 2 screws out from the top, and the 1 on the bottom, that mounts it to your freezer wall, unsnap the electrical connector. Then remove the front cover, just unsnaps. Then remove the 3 screws that hold the module in place as seen here: http://www.applianceaid.com/icemaker-modual.html then remove the metal bar that snaps into that plastic sensor piece on the module. Received module Saturday and as you described, was simple to install. Making cubes just like it was new. Thanks for the help, it was right on the money.
