Default Need Installation Info/Ppwk

I was given a used Kitchenaid dishwasher model KUDI2230BALO and have never installed a DW before. I need plumbing and elec. info. It is replacing a Maytag model DWU9920AAX which doesn't seem to clean well anymore and plugs up with crusted soap in water line to top sprayer and screen around pump keeps getting clogged with white greasy paste which kills water pressure. Is KItchen aid a comparable brand?Help on both fronts

turn off water and power and pretty much copy the old one. pay attention to water supply- dont strip water supply line compression nut. run a high loop before connecting to drain/disposal- drain line needs to be affixed under sink higher than drain connection to prevent backflow, use a screw and zip tie drain hose to it. electrical is black/black, white/white, green/green- WITH THE POWER OFF! disconnect power, water supply and drain line from old unit, counter mount screws and raise feet if necessary to pull it out- then you get to clean the lovely years of cr*! that you find underneath.
