Default Just Replace The Damn Thing

I had a Kitchenaid/Whirlpool ice in the door machine that failed. I took it apart and found that the foil run in the module had burnt up on one of the heater contacts. I soldered in new connections and it would work for a while but it didn't act quite right. I would have overflows of water and the motor seemed to lack torque. It would work for a few days then I would have to pull it out and play with it to get it working again. Today I replaced the control module and it is making ice like never before. Learn from my mistakes if you will.
