Default Kitchenaid dishwasher blinking lights

I hope I'm not being redundant, I have seen similar threads but they haven't solved my problem. My Kitchenaid dishwasher model #KUDS25SHB1, S/N FK6313864, nine years old, stops in the middle of a cycle and the panel lights blink continuously. Sometimes the cycle stops, unfinshed, the lights go out and that's it. Sometimes I can restart the cycle sometimes not. I have been told that it's because of a voltage spike and I need a new control board. Ok, but I have been given several part numbers: 8530929, 8564542, 8530909. I can't return a very expensive board. Any help?

Hi,

Your model# is missing an letter after the B and before the 1.

The problem is your control panel keypad assembly is malfunctioning when the lights blink.

What color is it?

The good thing about our site here is if you order any part and install it and it doesn't fix the problem you can return it within 30 days for a full refund.

I can link you to the correct part once you supply that missing letter and the color of your console, its either black, white, stainless, or almond.

Jake:

What about the voltage spike I read about, which called for the repalcement of a control board?

Yes, thats possible, but thats usually when it stops in the middle of a cycle and no lights blink, but your saying sometimes your lights blink, so to be on the safe side order the control board as well, and return the one you don't need.

Here's the control board for your model you can order:
Manufacturer's Number: 8530929

Remember when you order parts from the links I post you can return them within 30 days for a full refund, even if you installed them.
