Hi Guys, I'm working on a side by side, md# ksrs27fgss11. The control unit to the fridge is open, ( I thought i felt air flow), but still fridge side is still warm. I think i hear the fan running, but not sure, and i test the thermostat, seems ok. I suspect a main board, what you think? Thanks for all your help, DEW

Hi Dew,
I would first take the food out of the freezer, then take the shelves out, then take off the back panel inside the freezer and check your evaporator coils, they should all have a thin layer of frost on them. Not caked up with frost. Then while your in there you can see if the evaporator fan is running. Also take the temp. of the freezer. Report back what you find. Jake

O.K. Jake, I took everything out in freezer, and all was fine, fan running, and defrost working just fine. I looked into the air diffuser again and saw it had closed. Temp in freezer was perfect, but reading in fridge was at 50 degrees. im ordering the diffuser, but is there a main board on the md.?

Yes, its likely the diffuser.
Here's the diffuser for your model: Manufacturer's Number: 2209751 No, on this model you DON'T have a main control board. ![]() Jake
