Default KitchenAid Stove KESC307 - front cooking element on all the time

KitchenAid Stove Model YKESC307HB4. Front left surface cooking area is on all the time. This is dual circuit element. Month ago smaller element stop working, the whole thing was OK. Today I noticed that I can not turn it off. The whole element is on, even when the switch is off.
Looks like the switch itself is not working. Please help

Ok, possibly your element is grounding out and making it stay on all the time, or the switch is bad.

You would need an ohm meter to test continuity of that dual burner, make sure your breaker is off to your range first.

Here's the access repair manual:
https://secured.whirlpool.com/Service/SrvTechAdm.nsf/2cd44500d572193285256a45004fd9d6/3cd0f44c2da9595785256a8c0063802f/$FILE/4322525.pdf

Read page 4-4 through 4-5

and 4-7 through 4-9

Here's the dual burner assembly for your model:
Manufacturer's Number: 4453909

Here's the dual burner switch:
Manufacturer's Number: 8203536
