Default KitchenAid KudP02CRBL1 D.O.A

I started having problems first with the soap door not opening. I replaced the soap assy, and still nothing. I then replaced the control board and it opened once and not after that. Im waiting on a new contol board to come under warranty and now this morning it is DOA. I tried turning the power off and back on and it did not work. Do i need to replace the thermal fuse now? This dishwasher has been worked on now seven times since I have owned it. I will never buy another Wirlpool product again even if you gave it to me for free!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi,

I use my volt meter to test for 120 volts at the thermal fuse first, if you get 120 volts, then turn the power off to your dishwasher and ohm test the thermal fuse.

Here's the thermal fuse for your model:
Manufacturer part number 661663 is RepairClinic item number 1176509
661663

Your thermal fuse is #6 here:

Just remove the 6 #8 screws on the inside of your control panel, then you can access it.

I use an ohm meter to test continuity on the thermal fuse. If no continuity, then its bad.

You can get a cheap volt/ohm meter at Radio Shack if you don't have one.
