Hi James,

Is it a slow leak/drip? or gushing out?

Open the door when you see it leaking and see if its really sudsy inside.

Jake,

It did not start dripping until an hour into the dishwashing cycle.

I can see the small dripping leak coming from the bottom/right of the dishwasher. I attached a picture of where it's dripping from (picture.jpg)

When I openned the dishwasher during the leak, it was not sudsy.
Thanks,
James

Ok James,

Looks like its leaking either from the float assembly or the inner door where your detergent dispenser is located.

You may need to remove the outer door panel to get a better view. Do you know how to remove it?

Here's the float assembly for your model:

Jake,

Unfortunately, I do not know how to remove the door panel. Is it very difficult and not recommended for me to do? Do you have link to show how to remove?

Is that float assembly easy to put in?

Thanks,
James

Yes, the float assembly is easy to install.

Here's the instructions to remove the outer door panel:
Read Page#17 here:
https://secured.whirlpool.com/Service/SrvTechAdm.nsf/2cd44500d572193285256a45004fd9d6/52521bdbd0ef763c85256cbc00520548/$FILE/8178022.pdf
Where it says:

1. Remove the eight (8) screws securing the outer door panel to the dishwasher door frame.

(Fig. 3-7)

Remove the outer door panel from the door frame.

Jake,

I took out the front of the door. I did not see water coming from the inner door where the detegent dispenser is coming from. Water is definately coming down the float assembly. Should I replace the whole float assembly? or should I try to tighten. Does the float assembly usually go bad after 5 or so years?

Thanks,
James

Yes James, I'd change the float assembly.

It can go bad after 5 years or so.
