Its alot easier when you remove the front door panel, (makes more room). Removing the Pump MotorRead Page#17 here: https://secured.whirlpool.com/Service/SrvTechAdm.nsf/2cd44500d572193285256a45004fd9d6/52521bdbd0ef763c85256cbc00520548/$FILE/8178022.pdf Where it says: 1. Remove the eight (8) screws securing the outer door panel to the dishwasher door frame. (Fig. 3-7) Remove the outer door panel from the door frame. Then you can get to the drain pump motor easy, read #21 were it says: Here is the Drain motor: Part#661658 Check to make sure the drain motor impellers are not broken. Jake

Thanks Jake.....looked at everything. Nothing seemed broken, clogged or out of the ordinary so I put it all back together and ran it. Just opened the door. Dishes clean. No water. Go figure.
At least now I know how to take it all apart if I ever need to again! Thanks for all your help - the photos and links were invaluable! Lynn
