Default Kitchen Aid 48" - temperatures seem wonky

I just got a 48" KitchenAid, model KSSC48FTS03 a month ago.

I have the freezer set to 0 and the fridge to 37.

Periodically (every day or two that I notice) the freezer will go to -9 on it's own (I don't have deep cool on) and stay there for a couple of hours and then return to 0.

When defrosting, the temperature on either side never goes above 0 and 37.

In fact, I can open the doors for a few minutes, and even though the real temperature has gone up on both sides, the temperatures on the panel still show 0 and 37.

Is this normal behaviour? Is it a firmware, thermistor or temp. control board issue?

By the way, Whirlpool Canada has 3 service company options for repair/support of this fridge and I've already had two of them here and neither had any clue about the temperatures. Maybe I should try the third.

Yes, try the third, because I've never heard of this issue happening myself to tell you.

Default Service Manual

Does anybody have access to a service manual or education guide for this model? Or tell me how to get hold of one?
