Default kitchen aid dishwasher model KUDS25SHBT1

Our repairman put a new water inlet assembly because it was leaking water onto the floor under the dishwasher. He even glued it in because the other repairman said that worked on his dishwasher. But the second time I ran the dishwasher it was leaking again. I have alarms and a couple pans under the unit now and the alarm went off. This dishwasher is five years old and is run about once a week.Otherwise it has been fine. The repairmen were very critical of the design of this part. Has anyone had any luck with this repair? Thank You!

Hi,

Are you talking about the water valve itself or where the water inlet comes into the machine on the left middle side?

Yes. It is on the back left wall. I just found out that the part has been revised to stop leakage, So I guess we will try the new part. Do you know if the new one works???The repairClinic.com has the number listed as 778221. I think it also goes by 675828.

I haven't put this new revised one in, but it looks almost identical to the old style, but with changes made in it to keep it from leaking.

Jeff1 may have installed one of these.
