    Default Kitchen Aid

    Model Number: KUDE70FVSS3
    Brand: KitchenAid
    Age: Less than 1 year

We bought the dishwasher from Sears Outlet store and it was still in box and never used. We installed it awhile ago and it was working properly for 4 or 5 time, then suddenly it doesn't work anymore, we have checked the wire and it work just fine and we could not turn it on.

We would appreciate your help because it is brand new dishwasher.

So nothing works on it at all? No lights, No sounds? Like its dead?

First check your main power connection where it comes in from your house electrical, its in the metal junction box below your dishwasher, take the front bottom access panel off then you should see the junction box.

Turn the breaker off to your dishwasher first, then open the junction box and check your wire nut connections, I have see many installers not tighten those 2 wire nuts tight enough and thus you get arcing and you get low or no voltage to your dishwasher.

Also you need a volt meter to make sure your getting 120 volts there as well.

Let us know what you find.

    Nothing work at all,

we did check the wire and it work fine and got all 120 volts there. We also checked the fuse and it works okay. It could be the board (computer programming) in the dishwasher is not working properly?

Its hard to say, there is no way to check that board with it dead like it is now, since its so new you will need to get KitchenAid to come out and see whats going on.
