Default Kitchenaid cooktop not heating water adequately

I have a 6 month old, Kitchenaid 4 burner gas cooktop model kgcs105gss. Each burner has a different BTU output and even on the largest burner (highest BTU output) it seems to take an inordinate amount of time to boil a pot of water. The flame is blue and appears to be high enough. Any thoughts?

Have you recently changed the pot to a different kind? I know some pots conduct heat better then others.
