Default Ice Maker Dispenser Jam - KSRS25FGWH00

Hello,

It looks like I'm not the only one experiencing this issue but I wanted to make sure before I go ordering any parts. The frig was manufactured 12/98.

My Kitchenaid side-by-side will not reliably dispense ice. The output blades get blocked up with melted and then re-frozen ice and the output shoot on the door will also show ice build-up. I've cleared the ice away and clean/dried the dispenser tray but the build-up returns after about 2 weeks. It seems as though the door flap may not be properly closing but I can't figure out how to remove the outside bezel to access the actual mechanism.

Can anyone point me to the right door flap P/N and instructions on how to access the flap for rpelacemacment?

Thanks,
Ski

PS - This site is one of the reasons I love the internet
