Moody KitchenAid oven
I have a Kitchenaid KESC308. It's 2 years old.
On two different occasions (so far) I have been cooking something in the oven and the oven has shut off: the heat goes off and the control pad goes completely dark (no clock, no response to keys, no code -- nothing), but the cooktop keeps functioning. After 15-30 minutes it spontaneously comes back on, giving me a "PF" code.
One of these occasions was today, in the middle of cooking Thanksgiving dinner, so you can imagine how pleased I am.
Is the problem in the wiring, or the control pad? How hard is this likely to be to fix?

It sounds like your electronic control board is malfunctioning. I have replaced a few of these myself and it fixed the problem.
