Default KUDS02FRSS1 Flashing Lights on control panel

The Light China and Normal cycle flash alternately and if I push Cancel, it flashes also. No other buttons respond. We have cut the power, but have not been able to reset anything. We have had the dishwasher for 1 year. Based on previous posts, it seems this may be a control panel problem. Any advice is welcome.

    Thank you for your help,

    Alison

Yes, in fact this model is alot more electronically integrated, so I would replace both the control panel and control board, unfortunately it will be very costly.

You have a 5 yr. warranty on your electronic parts on your model as described here:
    http://www.kitchenaid.com/assets/pdf...08574093-W.pdf

Schedule KitchenAid to come out and replace these parts for free, all you need to pay is labor, which is still cheaper than buying & installing the parts yourself.

Great...thanks. A service man is coming out in the next few days and KitchenAid said they would cover all costs. On the phone the service associate said they would be replacing the control board. Should I insist that they replace the panel too?

    Have a great holiday,

Glad to hear they are coming out to fix it.

No, you don't need to insist they replace the control panel as well, let them change the board first, it that doesn't fix it all the way, then they will get the control panel for you.
